Les is the larger than life singer in RnR,  He came to singing seriously in the mid 70's after joining a musical theatre society, where he mostly worked in the chorus with an occasional solo. The best part came when he was picked to play Alfred P Doolittle in My Fair Lady at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage. A star was born (well, almost..)

While still doing shows he also fronted an 18-piece swing band doing songs from the 40's and 50's at gigs and charity events, and the odd event for the wartime nostalgic groups.

Time moves on, and so did Lesley J. Dart. After seeing an advert for a singer to front a new band he hasn't stopped singing. This band eventually became known as Rn'R.

As long as Les can belt out rock and blues RnR will be there, too...

Darryl is the  talented lead and rhythm guitarist. He has played with a number of famous musicians. Full bio will be on this site soon!

Jon started playing guitar in the early sixties with a school skiffle group. He graduated to an instumental shadows type band, playing Shadows, and Ventures covers in local youth clubs and coffee bars. They were known as the Zodiacs.

In 1964 Jon played guitar in the Backward Blues Ltd, a Stones type band. In 1965 he then joined a mod band 'The Short and the Tall as vocalist, singing Small Faces, Who, Kinks, The Birds, soul covers, etc in clubs, town halls, ballrooms and holiday parks throughout the UK. He had a breath-spell in a band called The System again as vocalist, which was a 5 piece R&B band like the Animals.

He stopped playing in 1969, then started again in 1985, playing guitar in a band called Phoenix, switched to bass, and played in covers function band Niteshift, rock, country, soul, pop. with  his son steve (who sometimes drums for RnR). After 15 years with Niteshift he formed rock /blues band 30 Seconds to Midnite (named after one of his hero's - Steve Marrriot). He joined RnR over 5 years ago as bass player. As the elder member of the band he believes you are never to old to rock and roll. Indeed, it helps to keep you feeling young. Oh, and that there's more to him than just 4 strings...

Janine has written 50 albums and played keyboards with a number of bands over the years, working with artists such as Sir Paul McCartney, Hidden Cameras, The Magic Carpets and Alan Warner. She can play 17 instruments and teaches Music. Janine has appeared in over 40 films, including Harry Potter, The Queen, Mr Bean's Holiday, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, 28 Weeks Later, Holby City and Eastenders!

Janine is the latest addition to RnR, joining the band at the end of 2011!

Andy  started drumming in the late 60's in South Wales in a band covering the pop tunes of the day in local pubs, holiday parks and the army garrison. He worked with the pop band (formed of soldiers from the local unit) as well as a folk duo and keyboard act. He didn't start playing again until the late 80's when he joined The Hash Band (formed of members of the Hash House Harriers); playing gigs for the Hash House Harriers parties and private functions in South London.

In the 90's Andy also joined the aptly named "Warts 'n All Band" based in south Cambridgeshire playing predominantly 70's tunes in local pubs and private functions. For the last 4 years  Andy has been working with  R n R as well as doing private functions all over the country. Andy is also a sound and lighting engineer supporting the Shredded Beat band in the Cambridge area as well as being a popular DJ for parties, weddings and other functions.

Best gigs have been playing with The Hash Band in front of around 4000 people in the Millennium Stadium Cardiff and with R n R at the race course in Elgin, Scotland for a national Hash House Harriers function.
Drumming hero's are - Keith "The Loon" Moon, impossible to emulate and who died too young, and Charlie Watts. He likes jazz a bit too much, but is the rock and blues soul and heartbeat of of the Stones.
